The Channel Islands YMCA Swim League Championships Swim Meet is an exciting and highly anticipated event that brings together talented swimmers from across the region. Held annually, this championship showcases the dedication and skill of young athletes as they compete in various swimming events. Spectators can expect thrilling races, impressive performances, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with team spirit and camaraderie. It’s a wonderful opportunity for swimmers to demonstrate their hard work and for the community to come together and support these aspiring champions.

Location

The 2026 Championships will be held at the Ventura Aquatic Center (901 S Kimball Road, Ventura, CA 93004). This is an outdoor facility.

Schedule

This swim meet will be held as one session, with all swimmers participating at the same session. Warm-ups will begin at 9:00 am and the first event will swim at 10:00 am.

Meet Information

• All swimmers may enter a maximum of 4 individual events and 2 relays, not to exceed 5 total events.
• We recommend swimmers do not sign up for strokes that are illegal. Swimmers will be disqualified for incorrect strokes, turns and touches.
• Swimmers may only sign up for events that they have competed in a prior swim meet. They must have a time recorded since 9/1/2025.
• Each event (not heat) will be awarded medals for 1st – 3rd place, ribbons for 4th – 8th, and participant ribbons for 9th and beyond.
• Girls and boys will be heated separately. Events may be combined to keep the meet moving.
• Programs and lane assignments will be available electronically via SwimTopia.

This swim meet will be held in two sessions:

Session #1 (Ages 10 & Under) - 1:15 PM Warm-Up and 1:45 PM Start

Session #2 (Ages 11 & Over) - 3:15 PM Warm-Up and 3:45 PM Start
